We are looking for Sales Executives who will be responsible for leveraging both channel opportunities and direct sales opportunities. - Solid knowledge and technical competence in messaging architecture with an emphasis on Microsoft Exchange

- Record all customer activity accurately and ensure that follow up is appropriate and timely on all issues.
- Demonstrate superior listening skills to effectively ascertain customer requirements and present Teneros Inc. products relating to customer need. Feed customer requirements to product management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of account plans for strategic accounts.
Respond promptly and professionally to all RFI, RFP, and site visit requests.
Account Management Skills
- Together with the sales representatives, set daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals and keep updated weekly for inside sales and management to use.
- Provide hands on and other technical training to ensure that the partner is able to deliver installation and support services as required.
- Provide excellent customer service, as defined by the customer, to strategic accounts in your territory.
- Work closely with inside sales and appropriate departments within Teneros Inc. to evaluate account potential, issues, and requirements to close sales.
- Ability to work closely with technical support, engineering, and other appropriate departments to expedite resolution of technical product issues.
- Work with resellers and distribution channels to ensure that their staffs are equipped to present and install Teneros products.
Qualifications
Technical and non-technical skills required:
- Minimum 5 years Sales/Support Engineering experience with minimum 2 years of experience dealing directly with medium sized business customers (100-5000 employees)
- Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft Windows NT/2000, Windows 2003 and Active Directory
- Solid knowledge and technical competence in messaging architecture with an emphasis on Microsoft Exchange
- Advanced knowledge of SMB and enterprise network architectures
- In-depth knowledge and strong operating experience in Microsoft Exchange 5.5,2000 and 2003
- Knowledge of ix86 computer hardware components along with the ability to perform basic diagnosis and replacement
- Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients
- Experience of dealing with IT service providers and VARs a plus
One or more of the following certifications or related experience desired:
- MCSE Certification in NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows 2003
- MCSE Certification in Exchange 2000/2003 a must
Education:
- BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent
- High school education required
Other:
- Goal oriented, self directed, and self motivated
- Must demonstrate a willingness to learn, have a desire to improve on a daily basis
- Ability to travel 1-2 weeks per month

This position requires an individual with solid experience with Microsoft Exchange and Windows Server products. This individual must have solid know-how of this product family and of underlying technologies. This individual must have experience in providing customer support over the phone and via e-mail. This position has no direct reports and usually works very independently on the cases assigned to him/her.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work on Customer issues that origin either by Phone or Email
- Proactively stay up to date with all the latest technologies concerning Teneros' products and the underlying technologies and dissipate this knowledge to the other engineers.
- Recognize and escalate difficult technical / business issues within the NOC Team and Engineering organization.
- Problem resolution and updates on the Case.
- Provide Support for features documented in product manuals.
- Create Knowledge Base Articles / Technical Notes
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
Required Skills:
- Excellent customer support skills to 2+ years of high-level technical support in Windows environment.
- 2+ years technical experience with computer software, including the installation and configuration of Windows programs.
- Minimum of 3 years Microsoft Exchange 2003 and Windows 2003 experience
- Good technical skills in IIS and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Highly self-motivated and independent
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Extensive experience in examining, investigating and solving dynamic problems with ability to think "out-of-the-box” and develop creative solutions.
- Well-organized with the ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Windows Server operating system architecture and security.
- CRM experience.
- Linux administration experience a plus
- MSCE Certifications a plus.
Education:
- High school education required
