Ben Petro – President and Chief Executive Officer
Ben Petro joined Teneros from NeuStar, Inc. (NYSE: NSR), where he was appointed SVP for Ultra Services, following NeuStar’s acquisition of UltraDNS Corporation in April 2006. Ben Petro had been President and CEO of UltraDNS since 2001. He is a proven leader who has earned his outstanding reputation by repeatedly creating sustained value in a number of high-growth businesses. He grew UltraDNS into a profitable, high-growth company that provided infrastructure solutions to over twenty percent of the Internet and thousands of global enterprises. Prior to joining UltraDNS, Ben Petro was Vice President of Marketing at Edge Connections, where he was responsible for creating and implementing its national brand and deploying a strategy for its service offering. He was responsible for forging key strategic alliances necessary for the company's subsequent long-term growth. As Director of Marketing for Logix Communications, Ben Petro successfully launched the Company's CLEC/broadband services in over 20 markets. He has also held highly successful leadership positions in marketing and strategy at MCI Communications and communications consulting firm QSI. Ben Petro serves on the Board of Directors for a range of messaging and service companies including 3jam, Inc. and Peerfluence, Inc. He is also an investment partner with the San Francisco Arts Fund. David Novosad – Chief Operating Officer
David Novosad came to Teneros from NeuStar, Inc. (NYSE: NSR) where he was vice president of Ultra Services, a division created by the acquisition of UltraDNS corporation by NeuStar in 2006. Serving as general manager and vice president, operations at UltraDNS, David was imperative in defining the direction of the Corporation. Through numerous executive positions within UltraDNS Corporation, he was instrumental in product initiatives, strategic relations, corporate operations, global expansion, and launching of UltraDNS' East Coast office. Before joining UltraDNS, he held senior positions with several high-tech firms including Edge Connections and Logix Communications. At Edge Connections, he was responsible for the corporation’s financial plan and market strategy, as well as tracking company performance to a number of high-growth metrics. He gained significant experience in the telephony space at Logix Communications where he was responsible for revenue assurance, telephony services, and financial planning for product and business initiatives. David holds an MBA from Oklahoma State University where he graduated with the highest honors.
Manish Kalia – Vice President, Marketing & Founder
Manish Kalia has eight years of domain expertise in the messaging and collaboration market focused on product marketing, management and development. As a founder of Teneros, Manish pioneered the development and launch of the first appliance-based high availability platform for Microsoft messaging infrastructure. Manish joined Teneros from Ensim, a provider of infrastructure application hosting solutions, where he worked with Microsoft (MSFT) to build the industry’s first SaaS based Microsoft Exchange offering. Prior to that Manish was a member of the operating systems research group at Lucent Bell Labs (ALU) designing a Quality of Service (QoS) based operating system for content distribution and network service providers. Manish is also well published with seminal research papers on Bluetooth technology, authored while working as a member of the research staff at IBM research labs (IBM). Manish Kalia holds a BS in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi and was accepted into the prestigious computer science PhD program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Michael Guglielmi – Vice President, Business Development
Michael Guglielmi joined Teneros from NeuStar, Inc. (NYSE: NSR) where he was a member of the management team for the company’s Ultra Services division formed as a result of the acquisition of UltraDNS Corporation in April 2006. Michael led the business development and service operations groups managing partnership development, sales operations, and sales engineering. Previously, he held several executive positions within UltraDNS. As vice president, corporate development, Michael played a critical role in the highly successful exit of NeuStar’s acquisition of UltraDNS. Additionally, he has considerable experience in raising capital and was a major contributor to securing the company’s Series B round of funding. Since 2001, Michael also held executive positions in business development and sales where he implemented indirect sales strategies for channel development and was instrumental to the Company’s early success in driving significant revenue by leading a direct sales force as the first SaaS provider in the Managed DNS Service market. Michael has over 15 years of Internet and telecommunications experience and his previous background includes senior sales positions with UUNET Technologies, CompuServe Network Services, and Netcom On-Line Communications. Michael graduated from Boston College with a degree in Finance and Management Information Systems.
Matt Weil – Vice President, Sales
Matt joined Teneros from Neustar, Inc. (NYSE:NSR) where he was vice president of sales and led the company to record revenue growth. Previously, he led the sales efforts for UltraDNS Corporation, a leading provider of advanced infrastructure and network management services, which was successfully acquired by Neustar, Inc. in 2006. At UltraDNS, Matt built the sales organization and was instrumental in securing a number of the company's major e-commerce and Fortune 1000 customers. In a sales career spanning more than 15 years, Matt was a key member of the sales team at North Systems, a pioneering software application company. He has also held sales positions in the publishing and travel sectors. Matt holds a BA from Lake Forest College.
Monico Mallari – Vice President, Customer Advocacy
Monico Mallari is a proven leader with more than 20 years of experience driving revenue growth and operational performance by interfacing with customers and expertly aligning resources with customer needs. He has expertise elevating productivity and profitability through skillful management of customer support, professional services, and services marketing initiatives. At Siemens Communications, Monico had global responsibility for their technical assistance and call centers and was the primary driver for revenue growth of their Peripheral Products division. Monico has provided leadership at various startups, including Ensim Corporation and Solidcore Systems (acquired by McAfee), where he built their professional services and support infrastructure, allowing them to scale for growth.
Michael Hotz – Vice President, Engineering
Mike joined Teneros from NeuStar, Inc. (NYSE: NSR) where he was vice president of product engineering for the Ultra Services division, formed when UltraDNS Corporation was acquired by NeuStar in 2006. He was one of the co-founders of UltraDNS as well as a principle inventor and architect. Prior to that, Mike led the custom development team for the Broker Information Services Group of Automatic Data Processing, Inc., and later with Bridge Information Systems, Inc. following their acquisition of ADP BISG. Mike brings over 20 years of software development and engineering leadership experience with a strong focus on technology innovation.
