Instantaneous Failover and Failback

Teneros Always-On™ is the first product in the market to guarantee instant failover and failback in the event of Exchange server failures or planned downtime, providing non-stop, transparent email operation for end-users. This is achieved through the Teneros patent pending Instant-On™ technology. Neither outdated backups nor standby server solutions can deliver this level of non-stop mission–critical application continuity.

Non Intrusive to the Exchange Server and Infrastructure

The Always-On™ offering does not require installation of complex and intrusive software on the Exchange server or Outlook clients. No modifications are required in the Exchange, Active Directory, or DNS infrastructure. This unique patent pending capability of the Teneros Plug-&-Go™ architecture eliminates the need for Exchange downtime during installation and ensures the stability of the Exchange environment.

Easy Installation, No Additional IT Resources Required

Installation and setup of Always-On™ can be completed in less than 20 minutes using the Web interface and does not require complex clustering expertise. Ongoing maintenance and IT resources are not required, because the Teneros Network Operations Center automatically and securely monitors the onsite appliances and applies updates and patches. The appliance’s anti-intrusion and anti-virus systems are also monitored and securely updated.

Protection from Database Corruption

Always-On™ uses Teneros Transaction Integrity Validation™ technology to check email data before and after replication, preventing Exchange data corruption from being duplicated on the Teneros Application Continuity Appliances. The outdated continuity solutions for Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2007 that use disk, block, or file level replication cannot prevent Exchange server email data corruption from being duplicated.

Secure Access

The Always-On™ Disaster Recovery and High Availability solutions are delivered through secure onsite Application Continuity Appliances. The appliances ensure that mission–critical messaging data is secure within the corporate network while providing Instant-On™ failover and failback. The appliances can only be accessed through the Teneros Network Operations Center therefore, eliminating the accidental destabilization or malicious actions by unauthorized personnel. This security ensures that Always-On™ protects your Exchange server and valuable corporate data.

Data Restoration

Always-On™ provides data recovery features that enable the Exchange email data to be recovered in the event of backup corruption or loss. During failback, the Teneros solution determines what email data is missing from the repaired or updated Exchange server and restores it. Restoration can cover any amount of email up to the complete mail store.

Self Healing

All Teneros Application Continuity Appliances leverage Multi-System Resiliency™ technology, which uses independent error detection and recovery systems within the appliance to maintain its availability. These independent systems continuously monitor, detect, and repair soft errors. The Teneros appliances have fully redundant hardware systems including dual power supplies and RAID 10 protection for the storage system. The Teneros Multi-System Resiliency technology assures Always-On™ performance.
